Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

A third party service is used to collect data in order for us to provide a better service to you. Your unique device identifier is included in the information sent. We do not share, disclose or provide personally identifiable information (such as names, addresses, emails or phone numbers) with other companies or persons, whether or not for a gain or benefit. We may disclose non-private, aggregated, or otherwise non-personal information, such as usage statistics of the Sensser Service to improve or maintain the Sensser Service. We use background mode to accurately determine when a you arrive or leave a specific location. Once you arrive / leave a specific location or building, you will receive a notification prompting you to change their availability. Whilst using this can hinder the life of your battery, it allows accurate location detection, making it easy for you to update your availability. You can elect not to use this feature and turn of location services at any time.
